On the medial side of thigh, 2 cun above the medial end of base of patella, at the prominence of medial head of quadriceps muscle.
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "2.5 cun above the medial border of knee, at the junction of the white flesh";
- Qianjin Yaofang‧: "Alternatively, 3 cun”;
- Qianjin Yifang states: "2 cun”;
- Lingshu Jingmai Yi states: "2 and half cun." Currently, the standard is 2 cun, and the "half" (半) is likely a miswriting of "middle" (中).
- Zhenfang Liuji: "One method: Have the patient press their hand on the kneecap, with thumb pointing inward and the other fingers pointing outward. The point is located where thumb ends." That is, using the opposite hand to press knee, fingers pointing upward, with thumb inclined toward the medial side of thigh, and the point is where thumb stops.
- Xunjing Kaoxue Bian: "Press Dubi (ST35) with the web between thumb and index finger, and the point is where the middle finger reaches."
