【Origin】

Literal meaning "support spirit". Cheng, bear; Ling, refers to the head where the spirit is. The point is just above the lateral edge of the Tianling Bone (parietal bone) on the top of the head.

【Location】

• Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "One inch and five minutes behind Zhengying (GB17)";
• Zhenjiu Wendui: "Lin Cry has a point on the eye, which goes straight into the hairline five points wide; Muchuang (GB16) and Zhengying (GB17) are one inch each, and Chengling (GB18) is five inches behind the camp." That is, the current four inches behind hairline ;
• Zhenjiu Dacheng‧ Set the acupoint five inches behind the front hairline.
• Zhenjiu Jicheng: "The back of Qubin (GB7) is half an inch slightly higher", which means that Chengngling (GB18) is in Jiaosun (TE20) above the point, and Jiaosun (TE20), Shuaigu (GB8), Baihui (GV20) on a horizontal line.
