In temporal region, directly above the posterior border of temple hair in front of ear, at the level of the tip of ear, approximately one finger-width anterior to Jiaosun (TE20).
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "At the depression in the curved corner of temple, above ear within hairline, where there is a hollow when jaw is moved";
- Renjing Jing: "At the sides of forehead, where hairline curves above ear";
- Yixue Rumen: "Where the tip of ear points when ear is folded forward".
