- Muscle: frontalis.
- Nerve: lateral branch of frontal nerve.
- Vessels: lateral branches of frontal artery and vein.
[Manipulation]
Subcutaneous insertion 0.5 to 1 inch into the middle of the eyebrow or at the tip of the eyebrow. No moxibustion.
[Efficacy]
improving vision, dispelling wind
- Classical: headache, head wind, dizziness, red and swollen eyes, pain between the eyebrows, night blindness, myopia, farsightedness, eyelid, strong neck, cannot be ignored, cold back cannot be warmed .
- Modern: deviation of mouth, trigeminal neuralgia, supraorbital neuralgia, eyelid ptosis.
