Take the seven ingredients above, boil them in 1.5 liters of water until reduced to 600 milliliters, add maltose, and then simmer over low heat until dissolved. Take 200 milliliters each time, three times a day.

When used together with Peony Root and roasted Liquorice Root, they alleviate urgency and pain, tonify qi and harmonize yin, consolidate the exterior and stop sweating. Together, they achieve the effects of warming the middle, tonifying deficiency, alleviating urgency and pain, harmonizing yin-yang, and regulating nutrient-defense.
