phlegm fluid retention disease, fullness of chest and hypochondrium, dizziness, palpitation, shortness of breath and cough, pale tongue with white and greasy coating, stringy and slippery pulse.

The phlegm fluid retention disease treated by this prescription is caused by insufficient Zhongyang, malfunction of the spleen, qi failing to promote water transformation, and accumulation of dampness. Therefore, the treatment is suitable for warming and diuresis. In the prescription, Poria strengthens the spleen and drains dampness; Cinnamon Twig warms yang, reduces adverse effects, and helps Poria qi transformation
