[Anatomy]
- Muscles: serratus anterior, internal and external muscles of the seventh intercostal space.
- Nerve: terminal branch of the long thoracic nerve, seventh intercostal nerve.
- Vessels: branches of the thoracodorsal artery, intercostal arteries and veins.
[Manipulation]
Transverse insertion 0.3~0.5 inches along the intercostal space. Do not stab deeply. moxa cone moxibustion 3 ~ 5 strong, moxibustion with moxa stick 10 ~ 15 minutes.
[Efficacy]
Broad chest, sharp threat.
- Classical: chest hypochondriac pain, wheezing, body pain, joints of body are all vertical.
