【Origin】
The lower abdomen is where men store semen and women store blood, and where the true energy is. This point is located on both sides of the Guanyuan (CV4) point in the lower abdomen. It is the gateway for the original qi to enter and exit, so it is called sweat pore.
【Location】
Three inches below the navel and three inches outward. That is, three inches next to
Guanyuan (CV4).
【Anatomy】
Between the rectus abdominis, external oblique, and internal oblique muscles, there are the superficial abdominal wall artery and vein, the inferior epigastric artery and vein, and the twelfth intercostal nerve and its anterior cutaneous branches.
【Manipulation】
Perpendicular insertion 0.5~1 inch can be used for moxibustion.
【Efficacy】
Difficulty urinating, Zigong (EX-CA1) bleeding, sterility, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy, less abdominal pain.
