Intersecting point: Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: Intersecting point of heel vessel and hand and foot yangming; Zhenjiu Dacheng refers to "heel vessel" as "yang heel vessel"; Zhenjiu Juying: supplements Conception Vessel (CV).

bubble_chart Etymology

"Di" (地) refers to the lower part; "cang" (倉) , warehouse. Face is divided into three courts: the area above nose is the upper court (heaven), nose itself is the middle court (human), and the area below nose is the lower court (earth). The acupoint is located beside the corner of mouth, within the lower court of face. The oral cavity serves as the entry point for receiving food and water, hence the name. Because it is close to the corner of mouth, it is also called "Weiwei" (Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing and Waitai Miyao mistakenly write it as "Huiwei").
