[Origin]

  • Muscle: quadratus labii superioris. The deep layer is the edge of the piriform hole.

[Manipulation]

relieving stuffy nose, dispersing wind evil, clearing qi aspect fire.

  • Classical: unfavorable epistaxis, polyps in the nose, stuffy nose, excessive runny nose, no smell, itchy and swollen face, hot and red eyes, crooked mouth and eyes, worm accumulation and abdominal pain.
  • Modern: sinusitis, rhinitis, rosacea, facial paralysis, hemifacial spasm, trigeminal neuralgia, constipation, biliary ascariasis, dysmenorrheal.
