[Origin]

God, mind; door, portal. The point belongs to hand lesser yin heart meridian (HT) source point, which corresponds to the mind, hence the name. Because it is close to the pea bone, it is also known as "Duichong" (Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing).

On the palmar crease of the wrist, in the depression on the radial side of the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon, behind the pisiform bone.

• Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "In the person where the end of the (sharp) bone at the back of the palm is sunken."

[Anatomy]

• Muscle: On the ulnar side is the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon.
• Nerve: The medial cutaneous nerve of the forearm and the palmar branch of the ulnar nerve are dually distributed, and the ulnar nerve trunk is on the radial side.
• Vessels: On the radial side are the ulnar artery and vein.

[Manipulation]

Perpendicular insertion can be done by inserting 0.3 to 0.5 inches into the radial edge of the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon, or penetrating the Lingdao (HT4). It is not advisable to do direct moxibustion, moxibustion with moxa stick for 5 to 15 minutes.
