This formula is composed of the Four Gentlemen Decoction combined with the Four Ingredients Decoction, along with Astragalus Root and Cassia Bark. In the formula, the Four Gentlemen tonify qi, the Four Ingredients tonify blood, and when combined with Astragalus Root, which tonifies qi, and a small amount of warming Cassia Bark, the effect of tonifying and replenishing qi and blood is enhanced.
