The Song Dynasty medical scholar, Lin Dang and others, emphasized in Chongguang Buzhu Huangdi Neijing Suwen‧Table: "To seek the ailments of the people and to care for their hidden sufferings is the profound benevolence of a great ruler. In the past, when Huangdi ruled, he and Qibo explored the celestial laws, the geography, and the nature of things, both far and near, engaging in mutual inquiries and establishing laws to benefit all generations. Thus, Leigong and others were taught and passed on the knowledge, and the Neijing was created." The current Suwen is essentially a dialogue between Huangdi and Qibo, expounding medical theories, showcasing the profound medical expertise of Qibo. Chinese medicine is often referred to as "Qi Huang" or "the art of Qi Huang," with Qibo holding a primary position.
