Xinming 1: The needle body is at an angle of 60° with the skin. Quickly insert the needle forward and upward. After the needle tip reaches the intertragus notch, pull the earlobe slightly forward and outward. The needle body is at an angle of 45° with the longitudinal axis of the body. Slowly insert the needle from above. When the needle body reaches the superficial surface of the mandibular condylar process and the depth is about 1 to 1.5 cun, the needling sensation can be obtained. If the needling sensation is not obvious, insert five points further forward and upward. If the needling sensation still exists, If it is not obvious, you can slightly change the direction of the needle tip and search patiently until you get satisfactory needling sensation, so that the needling sensation can be transmitted to the eye area. Xinming 2: Insert the needle tip horizontally into the forehead, and slowly advance the needle for five to eight fen.
