Ming, Guangming (GB37), that is, eyes. This acupoint is on the corner of the canthus outside the eye, hence the name Wai Ming.

In the medial tissue under the orbicularis oculi muscle and lacrimal gland, there is the lateral rectus muscle on the medial side; the superficial temporal artery and vein are present in the superficial layer. The temporal branch of the facial nerve and the supraorbital nerve branch are distributed there. There are lacrimal gland arteries and veins in the deep layer and lacrimal gland nerves.
