It is often used in combination with Fresh Ginger Rhizome, Fermented Soybean, etc., to enhance the effect of inducing sweating to release the exterior, such as in the Fistular Onion Stalk with Root Decoction and Fistular Onion Stalk, Fermented Soybean Decoction.
- Used for exuberant yin repelling yang diarrhea with faint pulse, pudendal coldness, and abdominal pain. Fistular Onion Stalk is acrid, dispersing, and warm in nature, promoting the flow of yang qi and dispersing cold stagnation.
