bubble_chart Formula Principles

This formula is named for its ability to reverse cold limbs, and is also known as the Reversal Decoction. In the formula, Aconite Lateral Root has a highly hot nature, which excites the nerves, stimulates cells, increases body temperature, and strengthens all bodily functions; Dried Ginger is also a hot herb, warming the middle and dispelling cold, expelling yin and restoring yang, complementing Aconite Lateral Root to enhance each other's effects; Liquorice Root internally tonifies middle deficiency, externally harmonizes nutrient-defense, and has the effects of alleviating urgency, relieving pain, and stopping diarrhea. Although the formula consists of only three ingredients, it can exert the great power of expelling cold and rescuing from collapse.
