In the formula, Evodia Fruit warms the middle and lowers qi to remove dampness; Areca Seed moves qi to eliminate dampness; Floweringqince Fruit lowers qi, dispels dampness, soothes sinews, and harmonizes collaterals; Fresh Ginger Rhizome and Perilla Leaf are pungent and warm, dispersing cold and removing dampness; tangerine peel moves qi and dries dampness; Platycodon Root promotes the flow of lung qi, restoring its distribution function, thereby dispersing dampness and reducing swelling.
