Analysis of 11 medical cases in which Generation and Transformation Decoction should not be used can be summarized as follows: simple qi deficiency (inability to absorb blood), yin deficiency with effulgent fire (excessive loss of blood), simple blood heat or various symptoms caused by warmth and heat. , disabled. Especially those who have abdominal distension and fullness after childbirth, Generation and Transformation Decoction should not be used. Among the 204 cases collected by the author, no abdominal distension and fullness syndrome was found, which confirms this point. It can be seen that the clinical application of Generation and Transformation Decoction must be based on the treatment principle of nourishing blood, invigorating blood and resolving stasis. Only when it is used to treat patients with "blood clot pain" can it achieve good results. It must not be used as a treatment method. This is misused as a tonifying formula.

Generation and Transformation Decoction was first founded by Qian of Huiji, and was later collected by Zhang Jing-yue, a physician in the Ming Dynasty, in Jingyue Quanshu's ancient prescriptions for women. It is Qian's family recipe for treating women's diseases. It is not accurate to suggest that Fu Qing-zhu founded Generation and Transformation Decoction. The medicinal composition of Qian's Generation and Transformation Decoction: Chinese Angelica 15g, Sichuan Lovage Rhizome 6g, Liquorice Root 1.5g, Burnt Ginger 0.9g, Peach Kernel 10 peeled double kernels, Prepared Rehmannia Root 9g (one side does not contain Prepared Rehmannia Root) . When using this postpartum Generation and Transformation Decoction, if there is no special evidence, the full original dosage should be used.
