bubble_chart Description Han Dynasty Zhang Ji authored, Jin Dynasty Cheng Wuji annotated. The book was first published in 1144, and the original edition was lost early. It was preserved until the late Ming Dynasty around 1172, after which it was also lost. The main existing versions include: the 1304 Yongtang edition, the 1509 Xiong's Zhongdetang edition, the 1599 Zhao Kaimei edition, the Siku Quanshu edition, the 1870 Lu's Shuangbaiyantang edition from Changjun, the 1880 Saoyeshanfang edition, the Sibu Beiyao edition, the Sibu Congkan edition, the 1924 lithographic edition from Shanghai Guangya Bookstore, the 1955 lead-printed edition from the Commercial Press, and the 1956 lead-printed edition from the People's Medical Publishing House, among others.
Zhujie Shanghan Lun is the earliest complete annotated version of the cold-damage disease treatise. It is divided into 10 volumes and 22 chapters, with the chapter order and content largely similar to the "Song edition" cold-damage disease treatise. However, some text has been added or deleted, such as the addition of a "Yunqi Diagram" at the beginning of the first volume and a "Pronunciation Guide" at the end of each volume. Duplicate formulas were removed, with only one instance of each formula retained. Repetitive subheadings from the "Song edition" that overlapped with the main text were deleted, as were duplicate entries in the "permissible" and "impermissible" sections of volumes eight, nine, and ten. Additionally, 25 modified formulas from the main text were removed and recompiled at the end of the tenth volume, among other changes.
