Literal meaning "slippery flesh gate". Slippery meat refers to the sheath of the rectus abdominis muscle; door, the entry and exit point, refers to the acupoint. The point is located at the sheath of the rectus abdominis muscle, hence its name.

• Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "One inch under Taiyi (ST23)";
• Leijing Tuyi: "To Shuifen (CV9)".

【Anatomy】

• Muscles: Rectus abdominis and its sheath.
• Nerve: Ninth intercostal nerve branches.
• Blood vessels: branches of the ninth intercostal artery and vein and inferior epigastric artery and vein.

【Manipulation】

Perpendicular insertion or oblique insertion 0.5～1.5 inches. moxa cone moxibustion 3 ~ 5 strong, moxibustion with moxa stick 10 ~ 15 minutes.

【Efficacy】

• Classical: Strong tongue, hematemesis, various stomach diseases, prolapse of rectum, madness, epilepsy, vomiting, tongue thrusting.
• Modern: abdominal pain, vomiting.
