On the neck, the upper border of the medial end of the clavicle, in the depression between sternal and clavicular heads of sternocleidomastoid muscle; in the supraclavicular fossa.
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "On the neck, directly under Renying (ST9), in the depression beside Tiantu (CV22)";
- Xunjing Kaoxue Bian: "1.5 cun lateral to Tiantu (CV22)";
- Leijing Tuyi "Adjacent to the notch on the tip of the bone."

- Muscles: platysma, between the clavicular and sternal heads of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
