【Origin】
Waist, waist; eyes, also refers to key points. The depression formed by the lumbar spine and the posterior superior iliac spine is the weak point of the waist, commonly known as Yaoyan (EX-B7), and the acupoint is located on it, hence the name.
【Location】
In the waist, under the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra, there is a depression about 3.5 inches to the side.
【Anatomy】
In the latissimus dorsi and iliocostalis muscles, there are dorsal branches of the second lumbar artery and vein; there are lateral branches of the posterior branch of the twelfth thoracic nerve and lateral branches of the first lumbar nerve.
