On the inner side of the arm, 3 cun below the head of the preaxillary crease, in the depression on the radial edge of the biceps brachii. Outside the 1/3 fold point on the line connecting the head of the anterior axillary crease and the ulnar end of the transverse cubital crease.
- Lingshu-Hanrebing: "Axillary artery";
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "3 cun below the armpit, in the artery along the inner side of Binao (LI14)";
- Waitai Miyao: "Use the nose to sniff the arm, and mark the spot where the tip of the nose touches.";
- Zhenfang Liuji: "When the arms hang down, it is level with the nipple."
