The lateral part of the calf, seven inches above
Waihuaijian (EX-LE9), in the depression behind the fibula.
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "Seven inches above the outer ankle, diagonally between the three Yang meat." It means diagonally toward the footTaiyang (EX-HN5) Meridian side.
[Anatomy]
- Muscles: Attachment of peroneus longus, flexor pollicis longus.
- Nerve: Branch of lateral sural cutaneous nerve.
- Vessels: branches of the anterior tibial artery and vein.
[Manipulation]
Perpendicular insertion 1～1.5 inches. moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 5 times, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.
