[Origin]

It is located in the middle of the upper edge of the zygomatic arch in front of the ear, above the teeth, opposite to Xiaguan (ST7), hence the name. The point is the meeting of the foot shaoyang and the foot yangming, just like the meeting of "guest" (Yangming) and "host" (Shaoyang), so it is also called "guest master" .

[Anatomy]

• Muscle: temporalis.
