Perpendicular insertion or oblique insertion 1 to 1.5 inches toward the center of the deltoid muscle. moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 5 seconds, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 5 to 5 minutes.

- Classical: hyperthyroidism, scrofula, epilepsy, pharyngeal swelling, arm pain.
