"Hui" (會), convergence or gathering; "zong" (宗), aggregation. The point is located 0.5 cun lateral to Zhigou (TE6), where the qi of the meridian twists and converges. It is the xi-cleft point of hand shaoyang triple energizer meridian.

On the extensor aspect of forearm, 3 cun proximal to dorsal wrist crease, in the depression on radial side of ulna, 0.5 cun ulnar to Zhigou (TE6).
