【Origin】

Literal meaning "shang bend". Shang is the golden sound, which refers to large intestine; Qu means bending. Inside the cave is the large intestine, hence the name.

【Location】

• Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "One inch under Shiguan (KI18)".

【Anatomy】

• Muscle: medial edge of rectus abdominis. (The deep layer is the Youmen (KI21) part of the stomach).
• Nerve: Ninth intercostal nerve.
• Blood vessels: branches of the upper and lower arteries and veins of the abdominal wall.

【Manipulation】

Perpendicular insertion 0.5～1.5 inches. moxa cone moxibustion 5~7 strong, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 15~20 minutes.

【Efficacy】

Regulate the intestines and stomach.

• Classical: abdominal mass, abdominal pain, abdominal distension and fullness, no craving for food, defecation or defecation, red and painful eyes.
