[Origin]

Zhu means pounding, and refers to the place where the pulse beats on the body surface and the hand is strong; Bin means guest. The point is next to the posterior tibial artery, hence its name.

Inner side of calf, 5 inches above Neihuaijian (EX-LE8), On the line connecting Taixi (KI3) and Yingu (KI10), it is the depression inside and below the gastrocnemius muscle belly.

  • Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "One point above the medial malleolus of the foot";
  • Shengji Zonglu: "Five inches above the medial malleolus";
  • Zhenfang Liuji Author: "Make a puncture point six inches above the medial ankle of the foot."

[Anatomy]

  • Muscles: flexor digitorum longus in front and gastrocnemius in back.
  • Nerves: medial sural cutaneous nerve, medial calf cutaneous branch of saphenous nerve, tibial nerve.
  • Vessel: The deep tibial artery and vein are the posterior tibial artery.

[Manipulation]

Perpendicular insertion 0.5~1.5 inches. moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 5 times, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.

Li the lower jiao, Qingshen.

  • Classical: abdominal hernia, epilepsy, raving, vomiting, foot pain, weak feet, galls, infertility.
  • Modern: nephritis, bladder inflammation, urinary tract infection, pelvic inflammation, schizophrenia, gastrocnemius spasm.
