Ying (water) point.

[Origin]

Tong, Tongda. The point is near the bulge of this section and is similar to Qiangu (SI2) and Rangu (KI2), hence its name. In order to distinguish it from the foot lesser yin kidney meridian (KI) point of the same name (Futonggu (KI20)) in the abdomen, Zhenjiu Daquan is named "foot".

On the lateral part of the foot, in the depression between the red and white flesh in front of this section of the little toe (5th metatarsus toe joint).
  • Lingshu‧Benshu: "Outside before this section",

[Anatomy]

  • Nerves: Proper nerve of the lateral metatarsus of the toe, lateral cutaneous nerve of the dorsum of the foot.
  • Vessels: lateral arteries and veins of toe metatarsus.

[Manipulation]

Perpendicular insertion 0.3~0.5 inches. moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 5 times, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.

[Efficacy]

Dispel heat and clear head.

  • Classical: body pain, fullness, Hanre, malaria, cough, madness, fear, headache, dizziness, nape pain, chest fullness, fluid retention, inability to eat, vomiting , sublingual swelling that is difficult to speak, tongue verticality, eyes swollen, epistaxis.
