[Origin]
Zhong, middle, liao, also known as 窭, bone hole. The point is the third posterior sacral foramen, ranking among the upper, second, middle and lower Baliao points, hence its name.

Ciliao (BL32), about 8 minutes below and inside, suitable for the depression of the third posterior sacral foramen; outside and Zhonglushu (BL29) Level with each other, about 6 minutes from the midline of the back.

[Anatomy]
- Muscle: Origin of gluteus maximus.
- Nerve: posterior branch of the third sacral nerve.
- Vessels: posterior branches of lateral sacral artery and vein.
[Manipulation]
Directly opposite the posterior sacral foramen perpendicular insertion or slightly upward oblique insertion 1 to 2 inches. It should not be too deep to avoid passing through the sacral hole and injuring the rectum and bladder. moxa cone moxibustion 3 to 7 weeks, moxa stick warm moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes.
[Efficacy]
Manage the lower jiao and strengthen the waist and knees.
- Classical: Lumbago, cold in the middle, abdominal distension and fullness, difficulty in defecation, diarrhea, dysentery, menstrual irregularities, red leucorrhea.
- Modern: prostatitis, pelvic inflammation.
