Gn, the bulging muscles next to the spine. The point is within the diaphragm muscle, facing Zhongji (CV3) in front, hence its name. (LingshuCijie Zhenxie is named "中膂", Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing is named "Zhongluneishu")

The sacral portion opens 1.5 cun lateral to the median sacral crest, at the level of the third posterior sacral foramen, lateral to Zhongliao (BL33).
