bubble_chart Etymology

"Shao" (少), refers to hand shaoyin heart meridian (HT); "chong" (衝), important pathway. The point belongs to jing-well point of hand shaoyin heart meridian (HT) and is located at the tip of the little finger, hence its name. It is also known as "Jingshi" (經始) (Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing), with a similar meaning.

  • Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "At the inner edge of the tip of little finger, about the width of a leek leaf from the corner of fingernail." This refers to a depression located 1 fen behind the radial corner of little finger's nail.
