It is mainly produced in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Taiwan, and other regions. It can be harvested throughout the year by cutting the tree trunk, removing the bark and sapwood, retaining the central part, sawing it into segments, and drying it in the sun. When used, it is planed into thin slices or chopped into small pieces, or steamed and softened before slicing.

- Used for gynecological blood stasis, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, postpartum abdominal pain, heart and abdominal pain due to stasis, abscesses, and sores. This product can remove stasis and promote menstruation, treating various gynecological stasis-related conditions. It is often combined with Sichuan Lovage Rhizome, Chinese Angelica, Carthamus, etc., such as in Leizheng Zhicai Tongjing Wan; for internal heart and abdominal pain due to stasis, it is often combined with Salvia, Sichuan Lovage Rhizome, Corydalis Tuber, etc. For external abscesses and sores, it is combined with Lonicera, Forsythia, and white flowers to clear heat and remove toxins, invigorate blood, and reduce swelling.
