If there is excessive internal heat and frequent urination with heat, add 3-6 grams each of Gardenia and Akebia Stem; for jaundice and difficulty in urination, add 6 grams of Virgate Wormwood; for fullness in the lower abdomen and hard, difficult bowel movements, add 9-15 grams of raw Rhubarb Rhizoma; for liver stagnation and hypochondriac pain, add green tangerine peel; for qi stagnation causing chest and abdominal pain, add Lindera and Cyperus; for food stagnation, add hawthorn fruit and Germinated Barley.
