Grind the above ingredients together into a fine powder. Half of it is mixed with soup and taken frequently, while the other half is made into honey pills to be dissolved in the mouth. Consuming all of it will lead to a good recovery. Alternatively, add防风 (Fangfeng), 薄荷 (Bohe), 川芎 (Chuanxiong), and 当归身 (Danggui Shen), finely chewed to the size of hemp or beans. Take 15 grams (5 qian) each time, boil with 300 ml (2 zhan) of water until reduced to 150 ml (1 zhan), remove the dregs, and take it warm frequently. If the stool is hard after eating, add 1 or 2 qian of simmered rhubarb with wine to facilitate bowel movement. If the swelling is severe, it is advisable to perform bloodletting.
