Clean the crucian carp without damaging it, stuff its belly with white salt, sew it up with a needle, and fry it in a copper vessel over fire until dry, then grind it into powder. Apply the powder to the ulcer. If there is no pus, mix it with lard and apply; if the ulcer is already broken, sprinkle the powder directly. Do not be alarmed by slight pain.
