Except for the white flour, grind the remaining ingredients into a fine powder, then mix evenly with the flour. Use freshly drawn water to stir and form into cakes, as large as the palm of your hand. Boil again in water until they float to the surface, then remove and check the firmness. Pound into a paste and form into pills as big as a phoenix tree seed, then shape into cakes. Take 5-7 cakes each time, gradually increasing to 10-15 cakes, taken with tea or wine before meals. Chewing one cake will induce one bowel movement; two cakes will induce two bowel movements.
