750 gm of Silla ginseng, 8,000 gm of Rehmannia root, 1,500 gm of White Poria, 5,000 gm of White Honey.
bubble_chart Preparation and Dosage
Ginseng and Poria are ground into fine powder. Honey is filtered through raw silk. Rehmannia juice is extracted naturally, ensuring no iron tools are used during pounding to extract the juice completely and remove dregs. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and place them in a silver, stone, or high-quality ceramic container, sealing it for storage. If the container is small, divide the mixture into two containers, sealing each with twenty to thirty layers of clean paper. Cook in a pot over mulberry wood fire for six days; if using continuous fire, cook for three days and nights. After cooking, wrap the bottle mouth with several layers of wax paper and immerse it in a well to remove the fire toxicity for a period of time. Then, return it to the original pot and cook for another day to remove moisture. Take 10 grams each morning, dissolving it in warm wine for consumption. For those who do not drink alcohol, dissolve it in plain hot water instead.

bubble_chart Formula Principles
In the formula, unprocessed Rehmannia Root enriches yin and strengthens water as the sovereign; white honey nourishes the lungs and moistens dryness as the minister; assisted by Ginseng and Poria to tonify the spleen and replenish qi, with Poria also resolving phlegm to eliminate the phlegm accumulated due to the lung's failure to distribute. The combination of these herbs collectively achieves the effects of nourishing yin and moistening the lungs, as well as tonifying qi and strengthening the spleen.
