Take 800 ml (4 shēng) of water, first boil the 4 ingredients, then take 400 ml (2 shēng), remove the dregs, and add the gelatin to dissolve. Administer 140 ml (7 hé) while warm, 3 times a day.

In the formula, Polyporus and Poria serve as the monarch herbs to promote urination and drain dampness; Talc and Alisma act as the minister herbs to promote urination and discharge heat downward. The combination of monarch and minister herbs not only disperses water qi but also vents pathogenic heat, preventing the binding of water and heat. Additionally, Donkey-hide Gelatin is used as the adjuvant herb to enrich yin and nourish the depleted yin fluids. The combination of these herbs promotes diuresis without damaging yin, enriches yin without retaining pathogenic factors, thereby eliminating water qi, clearing pathogenic heat, restoring yin fluids, and naturally resolving all symptoms.
