Grind the above ingredients separately into powder. Place aged rice vinegar in an iron pot, bring to a boil, then add yellow lead and stir well with chopsticks. Next, add the powdered ingredients such as gallnut, stemona root, cnidium fruit, typhonium giganteum, angelica dahurica, dictamnus dasycarpus, and impatiens balsamina, and mix thoroughly. Gradually add the powdered alum and the other six medicinal powders, stirring until well combined. Remove from heat once done. Before use, burn either cedar wood, cedar leaves, pine wood chips, or pine needles to produce smoke, and fumigate the palms over the smoke.
