bubble_chart Formula Principles
In the formula, Cinnamon Twig and Dried Ginger are used to support the yang of the heart and lungs; White Atractylodes Rhizome, Poria, and Liquorice Root regulate dampness in the spleen and stomach; Magnolia Bark promotes the yang qi in the stomach; red tangerine exocarp assists White Atractylodes Rhizome, Poria, and Liquorice Root in resolving phlegm-fluid retention; Peony Root, with its sour and astringent properties, prevents the upward movement of hot herbs and controls the floating of deficient fire. Moreover, while hot herbs are suitable for the spleen and stomach, they may not be appropriate for the liver and gallbladder.
