If there is no relief for two or three days, with coarse breathing resembling panting and dryness in the qi aspect, add Gypsum and Anemarrhena. If the tongue is deep red, with severe evening heat and dryness, and the pathogen has just entered the nutrient aspect, add 6 grams of Scrophularia Root and 3 grams of Rhinoceros Horn.
