For severe internal heat, add Skullcap Root, Phelloendron Bark, and Chinese Gentian; for hard and distended stools, add 6-9 grams of Rhubarb Rhizoma; for jaundice with difficulty in urination and severe heat, add 6 grams of Virgate Wormwood; for pathogenic heat blood accumulation and abdominal pain, add 4.5 grams each of Carthamus and green tangerine peel.
