In the formula, Astragalus Root is used to tonify the great qi; White Atractylodes Rhizome to strengthen the spleen and stomach; Chinese Angelica, frankincense, and myrrh to promote blood circulation; Clematis to dispel wind and disperse phlegm, with the concern that its nature may be too dispersing, it is assisted by Ginseng, which tonifies both qi and blood; Dried Ginger to open the obstruction of qi and blood; Anemarrhena to counteract the heat of Dried Ginger and Ginseng. The combination of these ten ingredients results in a medicinal property that is balanced and mild, suitable for long-term use without adverse effects.
