Cinnamon twig 5 gm (peeled), Peony root, Ginger (cut), Licorice root (roasted), Ephedra (de-noded), each 3 gm, Jujube 4 pieces (split), Apricot kernel (soaked in hot water, peeled, tips and both kernels removed) 24 pieces.

bubble_chart Preparation and Dosage

Boil 500 ml of water with the above 7 ingredients, starting with Ephedra. Boil once or twice, remove the scum, then add the other herbs. Decoct until reduced to 210 ml, remove the dregs, and administer 70 ml while warm. Originally, it was said to use 35 ml of Cinnamon Twig Decoction and 35 ml of Ephedra Decoction, combined to make 70 ml, and administer immediately. Follow the same method for rest and care as described above.
