Except for borneol and musk, the above 12 ingredients are finely ground. On the day of the winter solstice, soak them in oil for seven days, then filter out the herbs and refine the oil until fragrant and cooked. Let it cool. Weigh 180 grams, then add the herbs back in and fry until yellow. Use a double-layered silk bag to filter out the dregs, then return the mixture to the pot. To relieve wind and stop itching, spread thinly on silk and apply; for mouth sores, hold a bean-sized amount in the mouth to dissolve; for red and ulcerated eyelids with unbearable pain, apply the medicine; for facial and oral wind-induced rashes, apply and rub until a warm sensation is felt; for polyps in the ears or nose, use a paper twist to apply a bean-sized amount, and it will fall off within a month without pain.
