bubble_chart Preparation and Dosage
First, place arsenic and alum into a small pot, and calcine them with red-hot charcoal until the blue smoke dissipates and white smoke begins to rise. After a short while, when the contents turn red throughout, stop the fire. Let the pot sit on the ground overnight, then remove it to obtain about 30 grams of pure arsenic and alum powder. Add realgar and frankincense to this, grind them into a fine powder, mix with thick paste to form a dense mixture, and roll it into thread-like strips. Allow these to dry in the shade, and when needed, insert them into the sore cavity.
