Use 800 ml of water to decoct and obtain 400 ml of clear liquid. First, administer 200 ml while warm. If the obstruction is relieved and bowel movement occurs, no further administration is needed. If the obstruction in the chest is not yet relieved, wait for two hours and then administer another 200 ml while warm. If the obstruction in the chest is relieved but bowel movement has not yet occurred, and there is no sensation of passing gas, you may still administer 100 ml while warm.
